Who we are

We make daily word games, logic puzzles and trivia. Each takes a few minutes, and there’s a new puzzle for every game each day.

Everybody plays the same puzzles on the same day, so comparing your result with a friend’s is comparing the same thing.

Why we’re building it

We want to make games you look forward to coming back to. Easy to learn, with enough challenge to keep you guessing.

A puzzle that takes all evening is a good thing, and it is not what we are making. We would rather you finish, feel you got somewhere, and go and do something else.

How we check our puzzles

We test each puzzle before publishing it to check that it can be solved and the instructions are clear.

For Before or After, we check each date and specify the event it refers to. You can view the sources after finishing the puzzle.

Accessible controls

Play using touch, a mouse or a keyboard. You don’t need to drag. Screen readers announce moves, explain when a move isn’t allowed and read out your result.
